Chapter 10

Obedience and Love in Christ

¹ So stand firm in these things and follow the Lord's example: steadfast in faith and unchanging, lovers of the brotherhood, loving one another, united in truth, showing gentleness to one another in the Lord's meekness, despising no one.

² When you can do good, don't delay, because almsgiving delivers from death. All of you be subject to one another, keeping your conduct blameless among the Gentiles, so that from your good works you may receive praise and the Lord may not be blasphemed because of you.

³ But woe to the one through whom the name of the Lord is blasphemed. So teach sobriety to all, and live in it yourselves.
