Chapter One Hundred Fifty
Praise God, dwelling in His sanctuary on the firmament of His might, for all His power and majesty (verses 1–2). Let all who live praise Him on the psaltery, harps, timbrels, cymbals, and in songs! (verses 3–6).
Psalm 150:1. Praise God in His sanctuary, praise Him in the firmament of His power. The “sanctuary” of the Lord – the holy place where He dwells, i.e., in the temple or in heaven, as places of His special presence.
Psalm 150:3. Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet, praise Him with the psaltery and the harp. Psalm 150:4. Praise Him with the timbrel and song, praise Him with stringed instruments and the organ. Psalm 150:5. Praise Him with the loud-sounding cymbals, praise Him with the cymbals of exultation.
