Chapter 39
A saying like, Visiting the sins of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate Me
[P] [1] ‘And in a word, let not the disgrace and punishment of a father follow upon any of the children, except when any one’s father and grandfather and great-grandfather in succession have paid the penalty of death.’
