Eighteen ordered lessons in which Saint John of Kronstadt raises the whole house of the Faith — from the Holy Trinity through creation, the angels, and the fall to providence, Redemption, and the Incarnation. A parish priest's catechism that never loses its wonder, reading the sun and the sea and the six days of Genesis alongside the Fathers, and turning every doctrine toward the saving of the soul.
