Martyr (died 311 AD) in the province of Tyre, mentioned by Nektarios in the context of early church witnesses; named Eubulus 'because of his wisdom and virtue'. Feast day uncertain; commemorated with the martyrs of Caesarea Maritima.

(2) came, with Arianus, from Manganaea to visit the sufferers for the faith at Caesarea, during the Diocletian persecution. They were arrested at the gate of the city and brought before Firmilian, who caused them both to be tortured and put to death. Eubulus, who was killed on March 7, was the last of the martyrs at Caesarea. He is commemorated Feb. 3. (Kus. Mart. P. xi.) [T. S. B.]
