Codex 23

[Invectives against John Philoponus]

Read the invectives of Conon,[1] Eugenius,[2] and Themistius,[3]against the treatise of John Philoponus, in which they pillory his vain efforts. They also violently attack him personally, as a man entirely estranged from the Christian faith. However, they agree with him in refusing to accept the decisions of the council of Chalcedon.
