101. The Healing of a Blind Man in Bethsaida of Galilee. Mk. 8:22–26

Coming to the other side, the Lord comes to Bethsaida beyond the Jordan; and they bring a blind man to Him and ask Him to touch him. He took the blind man by the hand, led him out of the village, and spitting on his eyes, laid His hands on him and asked him: Do you see anything? He looked up and said: I see people; they look like trees walking. The Lord again laid His hands on his eyes and told him to look. And he was healed and saw everything clearly. And He sent him home, saying: Do not even go into the village, and do not tell anyone in the village.
