And there were those who knew the Lord, and many women who had followed him from Galilee, serving him. Among them were Mary Magdalene, and Mary, the mother of James the Less and of Joseph, and the mother of the sons of Zebedee, Salome, who also when he was in Galilee followed him and served him, and many other women. They had come up with him to Jerusalem, and now stood at a distance, watching from afar all that was happening.
