38. The First Journey Into Galilee to Preach. Mt. 4:23; Mk. 1:35–39; Lk. 4:42–44; Acts. 10:38

In the morning, while it was still very early, He rose and went out, and departed to a desolate place, and prayed there.

Simon and those with Him went after Him and, finding Him, said to Him: Everyone is looking for You. The Lord said to them: Let us go on to the neighboring villages and towns, that I may proclaim the Gospel there also; for that is why I came.

And the crowds sought Him and came to Him, and would have kept Him from leaving them. But He said to them: I must preach the good news of the Kingdom of God to the other cities as well; for I was sent for this purpose.

And Jesus went throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the Gospel of the Kingdom and healing every disease and every infirmity among the people, doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, and casting out demons, because God was with Him, – and He was praised by all.
