48. The Pharisees Become Angry. The Lord Withdraws to the Sea. Mt. 12:14; Mk. 3:6, 7; Lk. 6:11

The Pharisees went into a rage and talked among themselves about what they might do to the Lord Jesus. Then, going out, they immediately held counsel with the Herodians against Him, to destroy Him. But the Lord Jesus, knowing of the wicked plots against Him, withdrew from there with His disciples to the sea.
