The Jesus Prayer is Mighty Through the Name of the Lord

The Jesus Prayer is like any other prayer. It is mightier than all only through the all-mighty name of Jesus, the Lord, the Savior, when it is invoked with full, fervent, unwavering faith—that He is near, sees and hears all, and attends with all His heart to what is asked—and is ready to grant and bestow what is requested. Such hope is not ashamed. If sometimes the fulfillment is delayed, it depends on the unreadiness of the one asking to receive what is asked.
