There is Disorder Within When the Mind Goes its Way and the Heart Goes its Way—they Must Be United

The reason you have all this disorder within is that there reigns within a dissolution of faculties; the mind goes its own way and the heart goes its own. You must unite the mind with the heart; then the ferment of thoughts will cease, and you will obtain a rudder for steering the ship of your soul—a lever by which you will begin to move your entire inner world.
