On Heaviness Appearing in the Head

That your head becomes heavy from prayer with feeling—I do not know what to make of it. Prayer of feeling refreshes, but this in you is something unusual. It will pass. But prayer of feeling is genuine prayer. God desires the heart, by his own commandment: My son, give me your heart! (Prov. 23:26) The Lord provides all that is needed. Pray to him for guidance on how to address one thing or another. And he will provide.
