On Mercilessness to Oneself and Complete Surrender to God

Be so kind as to keep in mind that the Lord, our Savior, is the teacher of all good. If you will surrender yourself to the Lord with all your soul, then He Himself will teach you, either through your guardian angel, the entire doctrine of Christianity.

Mercilessness to oneself, readiness for any service to others, and complete surrender to the Lord with prayerful abiding in Him—these are the producers of spiritual life.
