Tears during prayer, both in church and at home, are beneficial. But you should not display them. These are spiritual pearls, but from being shown they grow dull and lose their luster and worth. It is better to weep at home but hide tears in church, keeping in the heart a tearful disposition, or a spirit broken and a heart broken and humbled (See: Ps. 50:19). Strive always to maintain this.
