Six parish sermons for the great Marian feasts (the Annunciation, the Dormition, two on the Protection of the Mother of God, and the Kazan icon), gathered from Father John of Kronstadt's 1911 collected works, returning again and again to the incarnation's incomprehensible mystery and to Mary's intercession as the one sure refuge of a sinner who cannot face God's justice alone.
