Canon: On Those Separated From Photios and the Church

¹ Chapter 5. Those who until now have separated themselves from the Church and from Photios the most holy patriarch, and have given themselves over to the schismatic error, we define [to be cut off] from God and from all [communion] with Christ our true God, and from the assembly and concourse of the [established] faith, so long as they persist in the apostasy.
