[Acts of the Fifth Council - Constantinople]

Read the Actsof the fifth council,[1] at which the three so-called “chapters”[2] were dealt with, and Origen and his writings excommunicated, together with Diodorus of Tarsus,[3]and Theodore of Mopsuestia. Theodoret’s answer to the twelve anathematisms of Cyril was also excommunicated. Previous to this, the cases of Zooras [4] and Anthimus,[5] who wormed his way into the patriarchate of Constantinople, and certain other matters were discussed.
