200. The Last Supper: Its Beginning; They Came and Reclined. Mt. 26:20–29; Mk. 14:17; Lk. 22:14–18
And when evening had come, the Lord comes to the prepared upper room with His twelve disciples. And when the hour had come, He reclined, and the twelve Apostles with Him; and He said to them: With desire I have desired to eat this Passover with you before My suffering. For I tell you that I will not eat it again until it is fulfilled in the Kingdom of God. And, taking the cup and giving thanks, He said: Take this and divide it among yourselves. For I tell you that from now on I will not drink of the fruit of the vine until the Kingdom of God comes, until that day when I drink with you new wine (to taste blessedness in eternal life) in the Kingdom of My Father God.
