Chapter 70
If You Are Tired Toward Evening
How can one be bored with the Lord? And how can one even desire some kind of diversion?
And you don’t pray. This means you’re angry at the Lord, or self-satisfaction has taken hold of you. You’re satisfied!—And you don’t want to ask.
When you grow weary toward evening, begin to pray kneeling or even sitting, and then standing. But you must still pray. Give thanks to the Lord for the day, ask for a good night, confess the wrongs done.
