Chapter 65

Pray More Frequently and More Earnestly

You have a disposition toward prayer… Give thanks to the Lord. And be so kind as to satisfy yourself according to your strength and beyond your strength—both in church and in your cell.

You wish to learn prayer… Pray more frequently and more earnestly—and you will learn. Nothing else is required. If you labor with patience, then in time unceasing prayer will be born in you. Set this as the goal of your seeking and seek. The Lord is near. Keep the remembrance of God and always strive to look upon the Lord before you and to hold yourself in reverence before Him.
