Familiarity With the Jesus Prayer Must Be With Thought of the Lord

Become practiced in the Jesus Prayer so that it sticks to your tongue, but always with thought of the Lord. If along with this you sigh to the Lord from the heart, that will be noetic prayer, not merely the words of the Jesus Prayer. (7, 58)
