Noetic Prayer Transitions to Prayer of the Mind in the Heart With the Birth of Warmth and Inner Drawing

Noetic prayer transitions to prayer of the heart, or prayer of the mind in the heart. Its appearance coincides with the birth of heart warmth. There is no other prayer in the ordinary course of spiritual life. Prayer of the mind in the heart can deeply penetrate the heart and in that case exist without words and thoughts, consisting only of standing before God and reverently-lovingly falling down to Him. Here it is the same as the inner drawing before God to prayer, or the finding of the prayerful spirit. (16, 132)
