Two Kinds of Self-moving Prayer — Voluntary and Unfree
Only self-moving prayers, when the prayerful spirit comes, are of this kind. But they too are of two types: in one, a person has power to obey it or not, to assist it or to disturb it; in the other, they have no power to do anything, but are seized into prayer and held in it by another power, having no freedom to act otherwise.
