Subscription of Basil of Martyropolis, Legate of Antioch

1 I, Basil, by the mercy of God metropolitan of Martyropolis and legate of Antioch, agreeing with this holy and ecumenical synod—or rather, holding this view even before it—accept Photios the most holy hierarch of God as lawful and canonically established patriarch, just as Theodosius the most holy patriarch of Antioch, by whom I was also sent, accepted him, and the remaining hierarchical thrones. And those who do not accept him as we do, or who dare to break off in schism against him, I anathematize and turn away from; and all the things constituted against him in any place whatsoever and by any person whatsoever, I subject to the same anathema. Moreover, proclaiming the council that convened at Nicaea the second time against the iconoclasts as a holy and ecumenical Seventh Council, I have signed with my own hand.
