Subscription of Kosmas of Alexandria and the Metropolitans

I, Kosmas, by the mercy of God monk, presbyter, and apocrisiarius of Alexandria, agreeing with this holy and ecumenical synod—or rather, holding this view even before it—accept Photios the most holy hierarch of God as lawful and canonically established patriarch, just as Michael the patriarch of Alexandria who is among the saints accepted him, and his successor of the same name, Michael the most holy patriarch of the same hierarchy, and the remaining hierarchical thrones. And those who do not accept him as we do, and who dare to break off in schism against him, I anathematize and turn away from, subjecting all the things constituted against him in any place whatsoever and by any person whatsoever to the same anathema. Moreover, proclaiming the council that convened at Nicaea the second time against the iconoclasts as a holy and ecumenical Seventh Council, I have signed with my own hand.

Upon these, the most God-beloved metropolitans and bishops also subscribed with their own hand thus. Prokopios, by the mercy of God archbishop of Caesarea in Cappadocia, agreeing in all things with this holy and ecumenical synod, both for the acceptance of Photios the most holy patriarch, and for the rejection of all who write or speak against him; ratifying also the holy and ecumenical council held at Nicaea the second time, I have signed with my own hand.

Gregory, by the mercy of God archbishop of Ephesus, agreeing in all things with this holy and ecumenical synod, both for the acceptance of Photios the most holy patriarch, and for the rejection of all who write or speak against him;

ratifying also the holy and ecumenical council held at Nicaea the second time, I have signed with my own hand.
