A Sore in the Heart is a Natural Matter

Strive to form in your heart as it were a sore... Constant labor will quickly accomplish this. There is nothing special about it. This is a natural matter (that the sore—the soreness—will be evident). But even from this there will be more concentration. And the main thing is that the Lord, seeing the labor, grants help and His grace-filled prayer. Then the heart will establish its own order. (7, 199)
