Chapter 30. Constantine Is Promised God’s Help, if He Will Heed Both This Counsel and His Mother’s Commandments

¹ Words honor you; honor words in turn, and be always obedient to your mother. For submitting yourself to her guidance, you will always have God as a fellow-worker in your deeds, and a helper in your kingship. And this, above all, will be granted you by your mother’s virtue and blessing, which descends upon your head and establishes both your royal house and the house of your soul.
